- Barış Ergenekon is born in Istanbul, in April 1978. His ambition for music began at a very young age. At the Eczacibasi primary school, Barış Ergenekon participated in the third, fourth and fifth year in the flute and singing choir. At that age he met with the drums at a place where his father's friend played. That day he fell in love with the drums. At seventeen with his own efforts he purchased his own set of drums and started practicing.
One year later he started to perfom on stage and since that day till now, he still performs with several bands and famous singers. Since his young age, Barış admired Jazz music. Nowadays, he's in Holland in training for Drum & Jazz.
