- Biography
- I started being interrested in music at a very young age, specially in drums. So I started banging my mothers buckets, pots, pans and other house hold tools ... . So finally my parents bought me a drumkit and since then it was my favourite thing in the whole world. Then they sended me to the local music school of my village. There i was thaught by Dirk Dergent, a very good jazz drummer who teached me a lot of good stuff. Then I decided to make my love for music my profession and I went to the artschool in Antwerp. There I got lessons with Koen Liekens and Steven Cassiers, both verry good teachers. Meanwhile I was starting to play in bands wich were mainly reggae bands (because reggae is my first love). When I graduated in Antwerp I decided to study at the Worldmusic academy in Rotterdam. This did not really work out because a lot of reasons but now I am very lucky I'll be having lessons soon in the jazzacademy in Rotterdam.
