Nino La Montanara at the age of 11 he approached the drum just for fun. Later, however, he started to study drums seriousely, thus improving his abilities. This allowed him to enter the musical environment and to have his first work expreriences. Still young he has studied drums with private teacher, and in 1997 then he attended the course of drums' instruments at Nino Rota Conservatory of Music in Monopoli (BA). After attending this course,in the 2005 he moved to Rome where he has got a specialistic degree in Drums. There he studied with Cristiano Micalizzi - Ettore Mancini- Maurizio dei Lazzaretti.. The clinics of Nino with drummers of great relief: Steve Smith,Greeg Bissonette, Vinnie Colaiuta, Peter Erskine, Dennis Chambers,Virgil Donati. As to the clinic he performed at the Music Village (RM) together with Gregg Bissonette, Gregg says about Nino : 'you are a very skillful and talented drummer'. In 2008 he won the Italian National Drums Competition. This competition's perfomances is on 'Drummer Clip Collection" dvd advertised by Fbt, Pearl e Sabian. Nino gained some teaching experiences in state schools and institutes as well as in public schools. He played with several important musicians such as: Demolition man, Francis Dixie, Vladimir Bill (Montescristo- Scorpions), Electro groove, D.Hernandez Marino, 61 Cygni, Rhomanife, Giancarlo Greco(Tuglio de Piscopo, orchestra Ennio Morricone), Mannarino, Alex Milella, Roberto D'Artista - Fulvio Feliciano (Nathaniel Peterson, Twin Dragons, Kee Marcelo- Uli Jon Roth-Graham Oliver), Mirko Signorile, Giorgio Vendola, Egidio Marchitelli, Paolo Romano, Sandro Corsi, Anna Carril Obiols ( Mano Negra), Max Tortora (theatrical performances Sono fuori di me). Now he lives in Holland where he is getting new collaborations..He studied at specialization drums jazz course at  Codarts  University of Rotterdam.  Nino is endorsement for Rvdrums and Lantec Sticks.
